SEIKILOS RING - Silver & Gold

This ring is engraved with the epitaph of Seikilos. Found on an ancient tombstone, this inscription was accompanied by a musical notation that archaeologists have been able to decipher, making it the oldest complete song known to date. Here is the translation :

"While you live, shine

have no grief at all

life exists only for a short while

and Time demands his due"

In reference to the first verse, the center of the ring is decorated with a sun motif represented by an 18K gold dot
