MANTEGNA RING - Silver & Gold

This large silver ring bears the Latin inscription "Nil Nisi Divinum Stabile Est Caetera Fumus". Borrowed from a representation of Saint Sebastian by the great Italian painter Andrea Mantegna, this sentence could be translated as "Nothing is eternal but the divine, all else is smoke". In the center is a triangle, adorned with an 18K gold dot.
